A glimpse into creative processes, right at the place where they unfold: the format »Ahoi Atelier! Artist Talk at the Workspace« by the association »accomplices« invites you to meet artists and their work in their personal working environments. Since 2024, this special setting has made it possible not only to view art, but also to enter into direct dialogue with the artists – a rare opportunity to experience the creative atmosphere and the stories behind the work. The first edition took place in September 2024 with an Artist Talk hosted by Graz-based artist Nicole Wogg. Surrounded by her pieces – both completed and in progress – a lively exchange unfolded.

Studio visit with Clara Frühwirth

The second edition of the format will take place in May 2025 at the studio of Clara Frühwirth. The Graz-based illustrator opens her studio to offer exciting insights into her work, which primarily includes children’s book and poster illustration. Visitors can observe her creative process up close and take part in an open discussion and Q&A.

Art in the making

The »accomplices« format creates an intimate encounter between audience and art. It thrives on the trust of artists who open up their workspaces and present both unfinished and completed pieces. This proximity offers not only a glimpse into the creative day-to-day, but also a new perspective on artistic development.
