During Design Month Graz, the »GrazGuides« offer specially curated design tours through the »UNESCO City of Design«, taking participants to selected locations of »Design in the City« – insider tips included. Participation is free of charge, but registration is requested.

The meeting point for the tour, which begins on 16 May 2025 at 16.00, is the Kunsthausshop at Lendkai 1, 8020 Graz. The following stops are included:

Kunsthausshop

with the association mafalda

As part of the employment project »IN:TRA WORKS« by the association mafalda, girls and young women aged 15 to 24 create high-quality, feminist design products. These are showcased at the Kunsthaus Graz Shop as part of »Design in the City«.

Apres*Nord

with Patricia Sladić from Fasada Studio

Slow fashion from Croatia meets Scandinavian design: in the shop of architect Susanna Ahvonen, designer Sladić presents pieces from her Zagreb-based studio »Fasada« – an insider tip for lovers of unconventional and playful fashion.

Mangolds

with open funk and GREEN SQUARE

At Mangolds, the passion for a sustainable lifestyle doesn’t end on the plate. For Design Month, the »re:Mix« kitchen blender for personal preserving jars by »open funk« and bar furniture by »Green Square« made from the same surface material are featured.

Van den Berg

with Ayoub El Ghaziri

At the Van den Berg spice shop, exquisite aromas meet Moroccan carpet tradition: Ayoub presents hand-knotted one-of-a-kind pieces inspired by the Atlas Mountains. A sensory experience of scent, texture and culture – from North Africa to the heart of Graz.

Festival Centre Hornig Areal

At the main venue of Design Month Graz 2025, visitors will explore the exhibitions on site.
