Feminist Design from Graz – IN:TRA WORKS by mafalda

»IN:TRA WORKS« is an employment initiative run by the feminist association »mafalda«, supporting girls and young women aged 15 to 24 in developing their professional and personal prospects. Under professional guidance in a workshop in Graz’s Gries district, design products are created that carry strong messages: for equality, empowerment, and visibility. It’s not just about making, but also about having a say – in discussions about gender roles, working environments, and social responsibility. Whether it’s a gym bag with investigative edge or a tank top with a wink – each piece is a statement.

Design with a Message – On Display at the Kunsthaus Shop Graz

The »Kunsthaus Shop Graz« offers a space for publications and products centred on contemporary art, architecture, and design. As part of »Design in the City«, the shop presents a selection of works by »IN:TRA WORKS« – including screen prints, accessories, and notebooks with a message. This feminist design line is not only visually striking but also socially relevant – sparking dialogue, raising awareness, and supporting young women on their journey into the world of work.
