At verytasch, design meets surprise: The Fire Stool by Florian Kalcher is both furniture and campfire – made from leftover wood, designed for real moments.

When design is allowed to be not only beautiful but also ephemeral – a stool becomes an experience for all the senses.

Fire, Form, Function – The Fire Stool by Florian Kalcher

Florian Kalcher merges craftsmanship, experimentation, and sustainability: with the »Fire Stool«, he presents a seat made from slabwood – the leftover timber from processing unedged boards. What makes it special: when no longer needed, the stool can be used as firewood. Kindling included. The object was developed as part of the »WOOD CRAFT CAMP«, a project by »Creative Industries Styria« and »Holzcluster Steiermark«, where designers and joiners came together to explore ideas and materials hands-on.

verytasch – A Place for the Unexpected

»verytasch« by Adi Berghold is a Graz cult favourite – a treasure trove of fashion, curiosities, art, and »FREITAG« bags, curated with a keen eye for the extraordinary. Nothing here is ordinary – everything has character and a story to tell. The »Fire Stool« fits right in: a functional piece of furniture with a wink, an object to be used up – and remembered.
