The art club “Roter Keil” invites you to the first Flame Off in 2025 – a competition bringing together Austria’s glassblowers. The goal of the event: to create a finished glass artwork within a set time and under clear rules.

The completed pieces will be showcased in an exhibition on 23 May 2025. The highlight of the vernissage will be the award ceremony, where both a jury prize and an audience prize will be presented. As an incentive, participants can win attractive material and tool prizes – a valuable support for the artists.

Strengthening Community – Preserving Craft

With Flame Off, the art club aims to create a platform that connects the Austrian glassblowing community and makes their craft accessible to a wider audience.

The event offers visitors a rare opportunity to witness the creation of glass art up close and to discover a craft that is increasingly at risk of disappearing.
