Etching – a centuries-old technique that usually requires much time and special tools. The illustrator Clara Frühwirth gives the participants of this workshop an insight into the fascinating world of intaglio printing.
By “making a lot out of a little”, the artist opens up ways of breathing new life into potential waste products and transforming them into newly designed print templates. With a great deal of creativity and innovative ideas, Frühwirth shows how we can create an alternative to elaborate etching using everyday objects. In the workshop, the participants learn what all of this has to do with a pasta machine and recycled milk packaging!
