Where Imperfection Gains Strength – Nicole Wogg

Graz-based artist Nicole Wogg moves freely between painting, drawing, collage, and digital extensions using augmented reality. Her work questions perfection and celebrates the fragmented – both in form and in message. In her pencil drawings, she visualises inner and outer motion, inspired by the restlessness of urban life. Her paintings embrace deliberate disruption: collage-like beginnings are transferred to canvas, digitally overlaid with AR – creating a new depth between analogue gesture and digital reflection. Lightness, too, finds its place in her art: the series »Schlapfenwetter, Sonne und Meer« celebrates summer as an attitude – barefoot, free, and bursting with colour.
