How do thoughts become text, anger become poetry, hope become performance? The poetry slam workshop with Yannick Steinkellner and the Slam Kollektiv Graz invites participants to find their own voice – playfully, personally, and with plenty of room for emotion.

Writing, speaking, experimenting

Whether it’s your first attempt at writing or you already have stage experience – everyone who wants to express their ideas in words is welcome. As part of Design Month Graz, the workshop will be a space for writing, laughing and experimenting: about emptiness in head and heart, everyday observations, social issues or simply nonsense with purpose. Experienced slam poet Yannick Steinkellner will provide inspiration, share techniques and guide the creative process with tips for turning thoughts into text.
