At the vegetarian restaurant »Mangolds«, the interplay of sustainable materials, thoughtful design, and conscious living becomes visible – with no compromises.
Designed for Circularity – the re:Mix Blender by open funk
»open funk« aims to rethink household appliances: durable, locally produced, and repairable. Their first product, the »re:Mix« blender, is built on exactly these principles. It works with standard mason jars, features a modular design, and uses carefully selected, reusable materials – including a surface made from recycled plastic that gives each device its own unique texture. The blender combines function, joy, and responsibility – a kitchen tool that does more than just blend.
Sustainable Surfaces – Furniture by Green Square
»Green Square« brings the »re:Mix« concept into the room: with bar stools and tables made from the same recycled surfaces, these pieces of furniture visually and conceptually complement the blender. Durable, modern, and consistently thought through – from material to use. »Green Square« stands for design that invites conscious consumption – aesthetic, ecological, and made to last across generations.
Mangolds: A Stage for Good Living and Good Design
As host, »Mangolds« brings everything together: sustainable cuisine, beautiful spaces, and visionary ideas. As part of »Design in the City«, the venue becomes a platform for circular product design – and a meeting place for those who want to unite beauty, enjoyment, and responsibility.
