A piece of furniture that does more – at »Offline Retail«, you’ll see how leftovers can become new favourites. Roll it, sit on it, love it.
Form Follows Function – The Maki Stool by Florian Blamberger
Florian Blamberger, an industrial and product designer from Graz, takes a flexible approach to furniture. His »Maki Stool« consists of wooden slats, two boards, and tension straps – that’s it. Compact when rolled up, it can be transformed in just a few steps into a bench, standing table, or side piece. The design is minimal, the concept smart, the materials consciously selected: all wooden slats come from carpentry offcuts and are individually assembled – resulting in a functional piece of furniture that perfectly combines lightness and sustainability.
Offline Retail – Upcycling with a Stance
»Offline Retail« stands for creative reuse with style: old curtains, shirts, or bed linen are turned into bags, accessories, and unique textiles – produced fairly, locally, and with a social mission. The restored furniture in the shop reinforces the principle of extending product lifecycles. The »Maki Stool« fits right in: design meets material awareness – minimal, practical, and beautiful.
