Once again this year, Design Month Graz invites you to immerse yourself in the world of creativity, innovation and design thinking. For an entire month, the Styrian capital becomes a platform for contemporary design, a meeting place for the creative scene, and a showcase for new ideas and forward-looking concepts.

This series of events is far more than a cultural happening. It sends a strong signal about the economic importance of creative work and highlights the significance of creative impulses for Styria as a business location.
With around 8,876 companies, over 22,000 employees and a gross value added of around one billion euros, the Styrian creative industries are a key pillar of the regional economy. Particularly noteworthy is the structure of the sector: three quarters of Styrian creative businesses are one-person enterprises – flexible, specialised and particularly innovative.

Design Month Graz is a place where new ideas are born and unconventional paths are taken. It clearly demonstrates how closely economic strength and creative excellence are intertwined.
